Cast stone has too many limitations on piece size. The result is many more joints and a needlessly complicated installation. Notice how aesthetically pleasing the one piece header and one piece shelf looks on the attached fireplace image without the extra vertical joints. The mason need only set the stones on top of the legs, there is no requirement for center support.

What you really need is a service and a fabricator that takes responsibility. Holland Architectural Limestone personnel field measures your project and produces detailed drawings for use by the builder and owner for review of design. In addition we provide a 'setting out' drawing for the installer.

We can email electronic files for review, or deliver a paper copy to your door. You will receive a large fully detailed scale drawing so you can review every detail of shape and arrangement.
We will work to your project timeline so that at all stages of design sign off you have adequate time to review with your client.
